Important: Car Park Changes at Wrafton House Surgery – From 1st June 2025
We want to let you know about an important change to our car park here at Wrafton House Surgery.
From 1st June 2025, our car park will be for staff and Blue Badge holders only.
This change has been made with your safety in mind. By limiting the number of vehicles on site, we can make sure there’s space for:
- Emergency services, including ambulances
- On-duty staff, who need to be ready to respond quickly
- Patients with mobility needs who hold a Blue Badge
We understand this might mean a small change to your journey. If you're visiting the practice:
- A multi-storey car park is just a 3-minute walk, and offers 3 hours of free parking
- There is off-road parking a short walk away
- Asda’s car park is also nearby
If you don’t have a Blue Badge but find it difficult to walk, you can still be dropped off at the front of the surgery - we just ask that cars don’t wait in the car park, as space is limited. Please note, CCTV is in operation.
As an active practice, we also encourage those who can to walk to the surgery - it’s a great way to support your health and helps keep the car park clear for those who need it most.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
Important: Your Feedback Matters
As you may be aware your practice has recently implemented a new telephone system with the aim of improving your experience in contacting the practice. We are inviting patients who have accessed their practice by telephone in the last month to share their experience with us. The responses you provide will be used to inform future improvements for GP practice telephony systems.
For information, this survey is being conducted by the NHS North of England Commissioning Support Unit on behalf of NHS England and participation is entirely voluntary.
Note: Please do not include any personal details or details of health conditions. Information gathered from this survey will be shared to your practice, your local Integrated Care Board and NHS England to support the assessment of the benefits of the new telephone systems.
You can access the survey using the following web address: https://tinyurl.com/ynvx8z2e
Thank you for your participation

Purple Star Accreditation

The Purple Star is an accreditation to recognise the hard work of a health service in improving the health outcomes for people with learning disabilities.
As a surgery we have worked extremely hard in getting this accreditation and have had all staff trained in how to make reasonable adjustments for people with learning disabilities.
